Re-introduction

Hi, everybody, I’ve been doing this Instagram thing for a while, and I thought I would just make sure that I reintroduced myself to anybody who might have joined me before I started with my single follower back whenever that was. My name is Mike Reilly. I’m a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and professor of surgery at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. I am double board certified in both facial plastic & reconstructive surgery as well as otolaryngology: head and neck surgery, and I do a variety of surgeries for people with facial issues including deformities from cancer or trauma, or just cosmetic concerns like rhinoplasty and eyelid surgery. I am passionate about learning more each day; that’s my whole goal here. I know I don’t have all the answers and I’m always searching for more. So, I think that’s one of the best things about being in an academic medical center like I am. I have these amazing residents who are brilliant, who challenge me each day to have a better answer or do things differently and better for our patients, and then I have these incredible patients who are willing to come receive their care in an academic setting, which is just setting up the next generation to be the best possible care providers we can. So that’s a little about me. I love watching everything about you all that I follow online as well. And I hope that at some point in the future our paths will cross.
